It's important for you to declare God's Word over your own life and circumstances in faith. Many Christians don't  know what faith really is.  True faith is Belief+Corresponding Action.  That's the  God-Kind of Faith.  God is no respecter of persons. If you will put His Word to work, it will produce life in any situation you encounter. That is how powerful God’s Word is! In fact, God is so committed to performing His Word that Jesus said it this way: “Heaven and earth will pass away, but My words will by no means pass away” (Matthew 24:35).

Faith speaks what it believes in the present tense, and if you believe the Word of God, then your confession should be that God will allow Heaven and earth to crumble before He will allow even one of His promises to fail. As believers, our assurance is that God’s promises are for us—for our future, our purpose and our livelihood. However, we must get the Word of God in our mouth and in our heart so that what God has established in Heaven can be manifested here on earth.

Living faith is a disciplined faith. It is a faith that speaks the Word of God and acts on His promises even when natural circumstances seem to contradict the hope that we have in Him.  But, God’s Word is true. “Now this is the confidence that we have in Him, that if we ask anything according to His will, He hears us. And if we know that He hears us, whatever we ask, we know that we have the petitions that we have asked of Him (1 John 5:14-15).

God wants the best for His children, but there is a part that you and I have in walking out what His best for us. We must speak His Word. Our attitude must be set in such a way that nothing will discourage us from seeing the fruition of that for which we believe Him to perform. That is the mental disposition, or the vital principle, of faith.

Below, you will see a list of promises from the Bible grouped in categories and written in the present tense, as we are to confess them in the now or present tense. These can be used to begin your confessions of faith. However, I want to encourage you to identify that area in your life where you need God’s Word to be manifested—whether it be finances, deliverance, or healing. Whatever it is, find out what God has to say about it, and then you say the same thing. These Scriptures are in no way meant to be exhaustive or to speak on your behalf. That is why it is imperative for you to personalize your confession and search for other Scriptures that speak to your circumstance. Let His Word become Alive to you and for you, and watch God begin to work through your confession.

Again please note that most Scriptures contained in these confessions have been translated into present tense and personalized form from the New King James Version of the Bible. They have been carefully edited to ensure that none of the original meaning has been compromise or lost.
